When do
you start?
Our intakes are designed so that all durations — 4, 8 and 12 weeks — finish together. This means every participant shares the final weeks of training, and those pursuing the ISA certification sit the exam as a cohort regardless of when they started. It creates a natural community dynamic that our graduates consistently mention as one of the highlights of the experience. ISA examinations take place in February, May, August and November.

Absolutely. The ISA Surf Instructor certification is optional—many participants join simply to progress their surfing.
Our community is diverse, typically aged 18–35, and united by a love of surfing and a desire to improve. All backgrounds and experience levels are welcome.
We welcome participants who turn 18 during the same year they join. Younger applicants may be considered with a signed parental consent letter.
Yes. Graduates who passed the certification and wanted to teach found surf instructor jobs within a few months. The ISA Level 1 Surf Instructor award is the most recognized surf teaching qualification worldwide.
